AMAËL OBLIGER (2011) – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
After the PCS master, I did my PhD under the supervision of Benjamin Rotenberg and Marie Jardat at the University Pierre and Marie Curie (PHENIX lab) on the multiscale modeling of electrokinetic transport in charged porous materials. Then, I spent two years and half at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for a postdoc in the group of Prof. Franz Ulm where I worked on atomic simulations of microporous carbon materials. After that, I joined the newly created group of Prof. David Limmer at University of California, Berkeley for a second postdoc of one year and half where I worked on vacancy mediated diffusion in halide perovskites using atomistic and continuum modeling. Since 2019, I am an assistant professor at the University of Pau and Pays de l’Adour, France, working on transport of complex fluids confined in nanoporous materials.
