This is the case in systems as different as cities or cell interior.<br \/>\nIn spite of these differences, transport can be described by the same families of models, inspired from those developped for fluids, and corresponding to different description levels: microscopic, mesoscopic, or macroscopic.<br \/>\nIn this course, we shall study the properties of the different types of models, see how conservation laws constrain the form of model equations, and discuss which models are more appropriate for given applications.
