I was particularly interested by the physical phenomena that occur at intermediate scales, i.e., everything larger than the atom and smaller that our planet. I am very happy to have chosen the PCS master. This multidisciplinary training program was the occasion to investigate various active research domains in biophysics, soft matter, statistical physics and numerical simulations. It gave me solid bases, and after a PhD at the interface between statistical physics and biology, in the Matière et Systèmes Complexes (MSC) laboratory, I joined the Research and Development department of Saint-Gobain. I was then confronted with completely new problems, but I felt I had the right tools to propose new ideas and solutions. After four years in the team “modelling of industrial processes” I am now the head of a little business of Saint-Gobain specialised in fused silica. I am based on a production site and I supervise a small team of applied research.

In 2006, as a student in Ecole Polytechnique, I was planning to further my education with a master in theoretical physics.
