Antoine Fruleux (2011) – CNRS researcher
I attended the PCS master during the year 2010-11. This academic training gave me the tools and the scientific culture that I needed to start my research in theoretical biophysics and statistical physics. During the master, I did an internship at the Matière et Systèmes Complexes (MSC) laboratory of the University Paris Diderot. I studied there the stationary out-of-equilibrium regimes of a family of Brownian objects. I got on well with my tutor and I decided to do a PhD under his leadership at the laboratory Physico-Chimie Théorique of the ESPCI in Paris. I got interested in biology and in the momentum exchanges in cellular aggregates. Since November 2014, I am a Post-doc at the University of Sheffield in the UK. I work on modelling the physical role of the nucleus in the cellular motility.
In 2021, I joined the CNRS at LPTMS (Université Paris Saclay): cf. my webpage
