Dear all,
I would like to advertise a PhD position in the PhD Course in “Physical, Chemical and Material Sciences and Technologies” at the University of Calabria, Italy, devoted to students with an academic qualification (master’s degree) obtained outside Italy.
The deadline for applications is on July 18, 2024, at noon. The academic qualification can also be obtained after the application deadline but must be obtained before the starting date of the appointment, which is November 1st, 2024.
The PhD student can spend up to 12 months outside of Italy for research and up to 18 months upon signing a co-supervision agreement.
Interested students are asked to submit a research project. Projects can be in any field of Physics, Chemistry and Material Science, as outlined in the call document attached.
Students specifically interested in submitting a project on fluid dynamics at fluid interfaces, wave-driven active particles or hydrodynamic quantum analogs (experimental and/or theoretical) can contact me anytime to gain some knowledge of on-going research activities on these topics.
