Témoignages des anciens
Alexis Dubreuil (2011) – CNRS researcher
I chose to join the PCS master in 2011, after a one year internship in a neuroscience laboratory. At this time I knew I wanted to do research in this biology-oriented field. I am very glad I chose to study at PCS, rather than in a more biology oriented master, it has been the occasion to develop my skills in statistical physics and non-linear dynamics. I also greatly benefited from the wide spectrum of topics taught at PCS, although many courses were not directly relevant for my future research, it advanced my physics cultural background, which I still find very useful these days. After PCS I did a PhD in the Neurophysics Laboratory at Paris Descartes University. I then mostly worked with physicists modeling neural networks, and since 2021 I work as a CNRS researcher at the Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases in Bordeaux.
