Mehdi Bouzid (2011) – CNRS researcher
The master program was instrumental in developing my theoretical and numerical skills as well as opening my perspective towards many domains. After graduating from PTSC, I moved to ESPCI to purse a Phd in the rheology of granular media and suspension. Then I got interested into the modeling of the self-assembly and the mechanical response of soft solids such as gels and biological systems, which led me to be a postdoctoral fellow at Georgetown university and then at the LPTMS. Since 2020, I was appointed as CNRS researcher at 3SR Lab in Grenoble, where we develop numerical and theoretical tools at the interface between out-of-equilibrium physics and fluid mechanics to investigate the emergence of rigidity in network like systems and the rheology of living and non-living squishy materials.
