Looking to hire a Ph.D. student to carry out computational research on the processes of formation and deformation of amorphous solids. The selected candidate will join my research group that sits in the Institute for Theoretical Physics (iop.uva.nl/itfa/itfa.html) of the University of Amsterdam. Interactions with the (experimental) Soft Matter Lab are expected. Candidates must have:
(i) a M.Sc. in physics (ii) ample experience with programming and data analysis (iii) good communication skills and the desire to work in a group
