I was a M2 student at the PCS master in the year 2010/2011. To me, the main advantage of this master is that it is polyvalent in theoretical physics. Physics is theoretically treated at all the scales, with hbar nonzero at the choice of the student. With a main field-theory viewpoint, but also with non-linear and chaos aspects, the master will give the main weapons to understand subtle phenomena observed from the microscopic to the cosmos worlds. It is worth pointing out that the contents of this master are still useful for me today, as a “Quant” in finance!
