Gabriel Lemarié (2006) – CNRS researcher
I attended the PCS master in the year 2005-2006. The master was on topics that fascinate me: nonlinear physics, classical and quantum chaos, disordered systems, statistical physics. I particularly enjoyed the non-elitist, passionate and deep approach to teaching. I followed with a PhD thesis at the interface between disordered and chaotic quantum systems, and cold atom physics. One important result I obtained was very much inspired by a course I followed in the master. Then I made a first postdoc at CEA-Saclay in mesoscopic physics, and a second postdoc in Rome in disordered quantum systems. Since 2012, I am a CNRS researcher at Université Paul Sabatier in Toulouse. Web site: http://www.lpt.ups-tlse.fr/
