All internships need a signed agreement.
In the agreement, the term “Etablissement d’accueil” refers not to the laboratory but to one of the structures that hosts the laboratory: it can be the University to which it is attached, the CNRS, etc. The host laboratory will tell you. The agreement (3 copies in general) must be signed by the Head of this structure, by the internship mentor, by the student, by the “enseignant référent” (i.e., your principal professor in France), and by the Head of the University in which you are enrolled in France.
Depending on your University of enrollment, download the relevant files below to start the round of signatures:
SORBONNE UNIVERSITE :
- process is on line : https://stages.sorbonne-universite.fr
- push the blue button at the top right-hand corner in order to connect you.
- push the button « Déposer un nouveau dossier »
- choose: « Demande de stage 2023-2024 ». Then you have to save
- fill a file with informations about you, your track, your internship, etc.
- When you leave and comeback you have to push on « Demande de stage 2023-2024 » or to open the file at the top right-hand corner of the window.
- Unfortunately the document to fill is written in French. If you need some help, I propose that you first ask your colleagues and, if they don’t know, you can come back to me (DM)
- Note that you can try to connect you now, even if you don’t have yet your internship.

- Go to the web page for PCS’s students “Description of the U-PSaclay procedure” and follow the instructions (“convention de stage” is filled on-line at UPSay)
Internship abroad and covid pandemy :
Check the status of the country on goverment’s page . If it is orange or red, you should ask the agreement of “Fonctionnaire Sécurité Défense (FSD)” of your university, which will require additional delay.
